Prepare To Move - Part 4 series allows us to ask ourselves these necessary yet sometimes frustrating questions:

When will I begin seeing change?

When will I start experiencing movement in my life?

When will I begin to see progress as I move to where I want to be?

When we are in the middle of a season it requires us to believe and hold on to God’s promise. What He has started in me He will bring to completion!

You may feel stuck in the middle and you can’t get out, you may feel like giving up. But don’t. God is not finished with you yet!

In order for us all to take a stand, we must be willing to take a seat.

Today, we are going to do things a little bit differently. We are going to use this platform to have a conversation. A conversation that Open Arms is praying will create greater unity and bring about great change in our church, in our communities and in our world.

The goal of this conversation is two fold:

Firstly, to respond to racism, to bring awareness to it, to let our black community know that we love you, we see you, we hear you, and to bring unity throughout all of our community.

Secondly, it is to begin a conversation that we’re praying will continue throughout our church, our communities and our nation, as we ask the question ‘how can we be the change and create a new future, a new Ireland, that is diverse and is united.’

It is the Holy Spirit living & active in you, alive in you, empowering you and releasing you to move. This series has moved our shift in thinking that to move we need to first choose to be planted. Planted in the House of the Lord, in the Church, and Planted in Jesus! Today, Sean Booth, lead pastor of Open Arms Church is diving into the book of Ephesians 6:10-15 (NIV) looking at HOW to stand firm in the face of a spiritual battle, in the midst of a storm, in the middle of adversity, trials and struggles.

3 pieces of equipment God has given us in v14 & 15 are: The belt of truth | The breastplate of righteousness | The boots of truth

The armour of God doesn't remove the attack but it protects us from the attacker. Stand firm.

If you want to move from where you are to where you want to be, you must first be planted. Sean Booth, Open Arms Church lead pastor kicks off this series “Prepare to Move” by encouraging us to ask ourselves this question: “As I prepare to move, where will I be planted?”

Sean reads Mark 4:3-8 & we see that: Those who are PLANTED produce GREAT FRUIT see GROWTH & live lives that FLOURISH.

What if we allowed God to use this time as a platform to prepare us for where he is moving us to.
